Road Works & Highways Update
20 October, 2025
We’d like to keep parishioners and road users informed of current and upcoming works within the Parish. These essential works are designed to maintain road safety, improve infrastructure, and respond to recent weather conditions. Please take a moment to review the latest updates below.
🚧 Trafficworx – Road Works and Closures
- Belvedere Hill Resurfacing
Resurfacing works on Belvedere Hill are scheduled to begin on Monday, 27 October 2025. Traffic management will be in place during this time, and motorists should expect possible delays or diversions. These works are part of ongoing efforts to maintain road safety and improve driving conditions in the area. - Maison St Louis – Road Closure
Maison St Louis remains closed to vehicular traffic while essential works are completed. Pedestrian access remains open where safe to do so. - Chasse Brunet – Temporary Closure (27th Oct – 31st Oct)
Chasse Brunet, located behind the school, is temporarily closed to ensure public safety during the current phase of works. We appreciate your patience while these improvements are underway.
🌳 Highways – Weather Response and Maintenance
- Fallen Tree Clearance
Following recent periods of strong winds, our Highways team has been responding promptly to reports of fallen trees and branches. Crews are working to clear affected areas as quickly as possible to keep roads and pedestrian routes safe and accessible. - Debris Removal from Paths
In addition to tree clearance, pathways are being swept and cleared of debris caused by the wind. This helps ensure safe passage for all road users, particularly pedestrians and cyclists.
ℹ️ How You Can Help
We encourage parishioners to report any hazards such as fallen branches, blocked drains, or damaged signage via the LoveJersey App. Your reports help us respond more efficiently and keep the Parish safe for everyone.
