Closure of the Parish Hall

The Parish Hall will be closed to the public from Friday 11th December until further notice

In light of the recent announcement made by the Chief Minister regarding the daily rise in COVID-19 cases, Connétable Le Sueur-Rennard, after much deliberation, has decided that it is in the best interest of both our staff and Parishioners to temporarily close the Parish Hall to the public from Friday 11th December until further notice. This decision will be reviewed on a weekly basis following future announcements from the Government of Jersey.

As Connétable my primary focus is threefold: –

  • To ensure that, as far as possible, we can continue to provide critical services to parishioners over the coming weeks – particularly to the most vulnerable;
  • To protect the wellbeing of colleagues and allow them to care for themselves and their loved ones during these difficult times; and
  • To minimise the risk of spreading Covid-19, and encourage Parishioners to use our online services.

Municipal Services:

Administration. Online services such as Rates, Driving Licenses (apart from Provisionals) and electoral, can be completed online. Please visit My Parish Online https://parish.gov.je/Pages/Do-It-Online.aspx

If you do need to attend the Parish Hall in person for a first-time provisional driving licence application, please contact us to book a time slot either via phone on 01534 735864 or email: [email protected].

We ask that any Parishioners requiring to visit the Parish Hall in person adhere to Government guidelines. All other queries may be left in the letterbox which will be dealt with on a daily basis. The office staff will endeavour to be of service to you and have procedures in place to enable us to continue to work. Please note that some staff are working from home and as a result there may be delays in service delivery times.

Refuse and Recycling Services. At present these services are running as normal, please continue to put your bins/bags out on your usual day before 7am.

Honorary Police Services. Officer availability has greatly reduced; therefore, may be affected at times, however, Duty Centenier’s phone is available 24/7. Parish Hall enquiries have been cancelled until further notice.

St Saviour’s Community Support Group. We are continuing to work closely with our St Saviour volunteers and community sectors, playing an important role in the coordinated effort to support our parish and islands most vulnerable residents. Please do continue to contact the St Saviour Community Support Group on 07797 737480, if you or someone you know may need help.

Thank you for your patience and stay safe.
