Revenue Jersey extends deadlines on joint filing and frozen 2019 tax bills

The deadlines have been extended for eligible Islanders to:
- Opt in to continue filing joint tax returns
- Choose an option for repaying frozen 2019 tax bills
The original deadline for both was 30 September.Take-up among Islanders has been relatively low so far, and Revenue Jersey has extended both deadlines to 31 October to give more Islanders the opportunity to make an informed choice.
Joint Filing – The deadline for opting in to file joint tax returns has been extended to 31 October.
2019 Prior Year Basis options – The deadline for choosing an option to repay frozen 2019 tax bills has also been extended to 31 October.
