Occupation Tea Party
A Special Invitation to Our Liberation 80 Celebrations
We are reaching out to all St Saviour parishioners, friends and family members to help us connect with those who have played a significant role in our community’s history. We are particularly looking for individuals who:
- Were residents in Jersey during the Occupation
- Were evacuated or deported during that time
- Served in the forces during the Occupation
- Were born on or before 9 May 1945
As we prepare to celebrate Liberation 80, the Connétable would like to extend a very special invitation to these esteemed members of our community. They are cordially invited to join us as honoured guests for an afternoon tea—a gesture of gratitude for the sacrifices and resilience that have made our freedom and community possible.
If you know someone who meets these criteria but may not be online, please encourage them to get in touch. Alternatively, with their permission, you are welcome to pass along their contact details to the parish office.
For more information or to provide details, please contact our parish office on 735864. We look forward to hearing from you and to celebrating together the legacy of those who helped shape our past.
Thank you for your support, and for helping us ensure that no one is left behind in this very special celebration.
