Magnolia planting for the Queens Platinum Jubilee

As part of the celebrations for The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee the Parish is taking part in the Queen’s Green Canopy Project.

Connétable Sadie Le Sueur-Rennard has assisted in the planting of two “Magnolia Purple Pink” trees at Howard Davis Park which have been donated by the Parish. 

Connétable Le Sueur-Rennard had promised to plant replacement trees after two Horse Chestnut trees were felled in 2019 and an evergreen oak was felled in January 2021 all due to disease.
