Important Notice Regarding Recycling Contamination

We extend our appreciation to all residents who have embraced and participated in the new kerbside recycling scheme introduced by the Parish.

However, it has come to our attention that a significant amount of recycling collected on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, contained a high level of contaminants. This compromises the effectiveness of our recycling efforts and requires immediate attention.

To ensure the success of the recycling program, we kindly remind all participating residents to adhere to the correct sorting guidelines:

Blue Bags: Cardboard and paper

Clear Bags: Plastics and metals

Mixed recycling is no longer accepted – Recycling must be separated into the new clear and blue bags.

If you have any old bags, please place them inside the new clear bags for recycling.

Recycling bags are available for collection at the following locations:

• Parish Hall
• Parish Depot
• Morrisons Longueville & Grands Vaux
• Waitrose Rue des Pres
• Co-Op Maufant, Five Oaks & Grands Marche
