Havre des Pas Coastal Flood Alleviation Project – Community Engagement

The Government of Jersey is currently underway with a project to develop new coastal defences for the Havre des Pas and Greve d’Azette coastal areas.

The Coastal Engineering Team at Infrastructure and Environment (I&E) would like to hear the views of residents and local business owners on the coastal defence scheme and how it could support wider ambitions for the local area.

A series of community engagement workshops will be held so that nearby residents can share their views.

Each workshop will be 2-3 hours in length and will be led by I&E’s Coastal Engineering Team.
Light refreshments will be provided.

The workshops will be held at Société Jersiaise on Pier Road in the Members Room:

  • Session 1: Tuesday 25th June 09:00 to 12:00
  • Session 2: Tuesday 25th June 13:00 to 16:00
  • Session 3: Tuesday 25th June 17:00 to 19:00
  • Session 4: Wednesday 26th June 09:00 to 12:00
  • Session 6: Wednesday 16th July 09:00 to 12:00
  • Session 7: Wednesday 16th July 13:00 to 16:00

Numbers at each workshop will be limited to between 30 and 40 people to ensure that everyone can fully contribute. You only need to attend one event.
