The annual returns for 2026 have now been sent to all owners of land, houses, buildings and other structures within St. Saviour. Annual returns must be returned  by 15th January 2026. Any owner who has not received a notice should contact the Connétable immediately.

UPDATE: STORM GORETTI – PUBLIC SAFETY NOTICE

IMPORTANT INFORMATION – RED WIND WARNING

Storm Goretti is expected to impact Jersey this evening, with predicted wind gusts of 80–90 mph, according to information issued by the Met Office and the Government of Jersey.

The Parish of St Saviour has taken precautionary measures in preparation for the storm and urges all parishioners to closely follow the official advice issued by the Government of Jersey, which can be found here:

Current guidance advises the public to remain at home during the peak of the storm, which is forecast to occur between 8.00pm on Thursday 8 January 2026 and the early hours of Friday 9 January 2026.

What You Can Do

TODAY AND THIS EVENING

  • Secure garden furniture, bins, trampolines, and any loose items.
    Please note: Wheelie bins for Friday morning’s refuse and glass collections should not be put out until the morning, once winds have subsided.
  • Keep doors and windows securely fastened.
  • Park vehicles away from trees, walls, and other structures.
  • Plan journeys carefully, allow extra time, and avoid travelling tonight unless essential.
  • Share this information with anyone who may not be on social media.
  • Stay indoors as much as possible during the strongest winds.
  • If you must go out, avoid sea walls, coastal paths, trees, and loose structures.
  • Do not attempt repairs or clear debris during high winds.

TOMORROW

  • Drive with caution and expect localised flooding and debris.
  • Infrastructure teams will be on standby to clear hazards once it is safe to do so.

Honorary Police of St Saviour

In the event of an emergency, the Chef de Police / Honorary Police can be contacted on 07797 716 661.

Any obstructions or debris on Parish roads, including fallen trees, should also be reported to the Chef de Police. The Honorary Police will work closely with the Parish Infrastructure team to respond.

Administration & Waste Services

  • We anticipate opening the Parish Hall as normal from 8.45am.
  • Refuse and glass collection services are expected to operate as normal from 07:00am; however, some delays may occur depending on road conditions and debris.
