Prior Year Basis 2019 Tax Payment – Reminder from Revenue Jersey

Revenue Jersey will shortly be writing to parishioners who previously paid tax on a Prior Year Basis and who were moved to the Current Year Basis in 2020.

During Covid, the States Assembly paused collection of 2019 tax bills for those affected. Revenue Jersey is now contacting people who have not yet made a choice about how they wish to pay this outstanding tax.

The deadline to make an election is 30 September 2026, with collection due to begin in 2027.

The letter from Revenue Jersey explains the available options. Parishioners who wish to use the standard payment plan do not need to take any action.

An online form is available through Revenue Jersey. Paper forms will also be available at the Parish Hall for anyone unable to use or print the online form.
