Maison St Louis Closure – Further Update

Progress on Works
Starting Monday, 30th June, work will commence to clear the granite rubble from both the roadway and the pavement. This crucial work will help to ensure that the area is safe and secure for pedestrians. We are hopeful that this will allow the Parish to open the walkway for pedestrian use, providing a safer passage for local residents and visitors.

Road Closure Remains in Effect
While the work progresses, the road will remain closed to vehicular traffic. As part of the safety measures, additional supports will be placed at the bottom of the bank to further stabilise the area and prevent any further risk.

Next Steps
Once the debris has been cleared and the necessary stabilisation works are in place, the Parish will continue to work with the property owners to ensure that the site is safe for all users.
