Important Recycling Notice – No Sharps or Needles in Recycling Bags

We’ve received feedback from our recycling partner, Abbey Plant, regarding a recent incident where insulin pens (sharps) were found inside a St Saviour clear recycling bag.

For the safety of all operatives and staff, we’d like to remind parishioners that sharp items such as needles, insulin pens, or any other medical sharps must never be placed in recycling bags.

If you need to dispose of medical sharps, please use an approved sharps disposal container and return it to your local pharmacy or healthcare provider as directed.

We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our recycling process safe for everyone.
