Vote by Post – Election 7th June 2026

Islanders can now apply for postal voting in the next election to the States Assembly, which takes place on Sunday, 7 June 2026. Postal voting is an option available to all voters and offers a convenient and flexible way to participate in the democratic process.

Election ’26 – Candidate Fayre coming to St Saviour.

Islanders are invited to attend the first Candidate Fayre, a new event for the 2026 election designed to give voters the opportunity to meet all the candidates standing in their constituency in one place.

  • Venue: Oakfield Sports Hall, Wellington Road, St. Saviour

The Candidate Fayre will take place on Wednesday 29 April at Oakfield Sports Hall, Wellington Road, St. Saviour.

Modelled on a careers-style fayre, each candidate will have a stand where Islanders can speak with them directly, ask questions, and learn more about their priorities ahead of the election. The format is intended to create open, accessible 1-to-1 conversations with voters of all ages.

From 8.30am – 10.30am students from Years 11-13 will attend the Fayre as part of a wider programme to support young people in understanding voting and democratic participation.

The event is then open to the general public, as below.

  • 1.30pm – 4.00pm
  • 6pm – 8pm
