Electoral & Parish Assembly Monday 16 November

In accordance with the Public Elections (Jersey) Law 2002 a Nomination Meeting will be held at St Saviour’s Parish Hall on Monday 16 November 2026 at 6.30 p.m. to conduct the following business:-

1. to elect two Centeniers to complete a three year term of office expiring December 2029

All electors are welcome to attend.

A nomination form for each candidate for election must be produced to the meeting and must be completed by a proposer and 9 seconders who are electors in the parish. It is recommended that this be verified with the Parish office beforehand (Article 20 (4)).

In each election:

• if there are more candidates than vacancies, a poll will be held on Wednesday 9 December 2026 (Article 22(i)).

• if there are not more candidates than vacancies, any duly nominated candidate will be declared elected at the nomination meeting (Article 21 (1)).

• a nomination meeting shall not be closed less than 10 minutes after it has been opened (Article 20(8)).

To vote in this election you must have registered by midday on Friday 13 November 2026 (Article 12 (c)).

To elect three Vingteniers to fill vacancies in the Vingtaines of Petite Longueville, Sous La Hougue and Sous L’Eglise.
