Islanders can now apply for postal voting in the next election to the States Assembly, which takes place on Sunday, 7 June 2026. Postal voting is an option available to all voters and offers a convenient and flexible way to participate in the democratic process.

In the aftermath of the recent challenges brought about by storm Ciaran, I want to take this moment to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the numerous individuals, businesses and volunteer groups who have generously offered their support and assistance during this demanding period.

I would like to express my special thanks to the dedicated Parish staff, the Parish Highways and Waste Team and the St Saviour Honorary Police for their unwavering commitment and tireless efforts in keeping our community safe and functioning during these trying times.

Over the last week our resources have been stretched and the resilience of several businesses and volunteer groups has been instrumental in assisting the Parish and I would like to extend our appreciation to all of them.
